Heather contacted me months ago about getting some family pictures done with her 4 boys and it just so happened I was already planning a trip back home for some other work, love when that happens :-). I have to say I was pretty excited, as I hadn’t seen her in years. Heather did not warn me her boys were going to be so charming and handsome though. Talk about a great bunch of kids. I think she may have had them under some beautiful momma spell or something because I am still in amazement. And the dog, oh my goodness, Bruno is the coolest dog ever. When Heather asked to bring her dog along, I was stoked. I’m an animal lover and even though dogs can be tough to photograph, I don’t care, I love the character they add. Bruno however, is not your average dog, he listens, like a champ. We weren’t 10 minutes into our session when I got the first shot of the whole family and success, that never happens, EVER.
Anyways, now that I’ve expressed my jealousy of Heather’s picture perfect, well behaved family, I’ll move on ;-). I met Heather and her family at Lake Laura, close to Bryce Resort in Shenandoah County, VA on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. The boys were totally ready for me and we got right to it. Generally, when there is a young one involved I give them some time to warm up. Brody, the youngest, needed no preparation, this boy was born to be photographed. I had such a wonderful day with this family, I can’t say enough good things about this bunch. I warn you the amount of handsome/beauty may be overwhelming for some, view at your own risk.
Helen Arbogast - Misti Wow!…Even though I think Heather and her boys are amazing,(and well behaved)as well, it was wonderful as Heather’s mother to read this. You did a beautiful job with the pictures of her, my 4 grandsons, and Bruno. Thank you for the beautiful memories. Helen
