Hello Lovelies!
As you may have noticed, the weather is finally starting to feel like fall and that very reality hit me these past two weekends when I was forced to reschedule the MY Girl Street team “Fall Queen” themed photoshoot due to rainy weather and unforgiving wind. 🙁
While it is hard for my Street Team girls to create outfits for shoots that are sometimes months away with no idea of how the weather will be, it can be just as hard to choose everyday outfits in this season of chilly mornings and warmer afternoons.
However, I have come up with five inspirational outfits (that are just as easy to plan as they are cute!), in hopes of helping you look good and feel great all day. Not to mention, they keep you looking stylish and who doesn’t love to slay?
Play up a solid sweater and jeans with bold boots and accessories to match. The frayed-hem jeans are really having a moment right now!
Billow-y sleeves are also very in. Match them with skinny pants and cute shoes, a small purse, and classy jewelry. Warm colors can still be worn after summer!
Denim (whether it be a dress, skirt, or anything for that matter) and fur are a match made in heaven. Major boots take your look up one more level, especially if they happen to be velvet.
Fun prints are always best paired with solid colors that create a perfect balance. A shorter-hemmed shirt or one that is tucked in ensures that these pants don’t come off as too baggy, especially since they are also high waisted.
I’ll let you in on a little secret…..you don’t have to pack away your skirts when the weather gets cooler. Finishing the look with a sweater seems contradicting, but essentially it’s like wearing a hoodie and shorts. And who doesn’t love that?
