From a fashion standpoint, boots have never gone out of style. Sure, each era has it’s own favorite version of them, but they all seem to come around again sooner rather than later. Especially in today’s fashion, boots can be paired with pretty much anything.
Being January, we are in the middle of boot season, and honestly, who doesn’t love a good pair or ….five?
Here are a few different styles to try out this winter:
The Ankle Bootie
These are super in right now. Especially if they are suede, velvet, leather, or have a gorgeous pattern on them. You can wear them with almost anything too, from jeans to a mini skirt.
The Riding Boot
These have always been very east coast, so if you’re going for a preppier, more put together look, these will always help you do just that.
The Duck Boot
These are perfect for wearing on snowy days or just to walk through that unfavorable slush left over when the snow melts. :/ They’re super comfortable, and they probably come in your favorite color as well!
The Thigh High
Also very in right now, thigh high boots can also be worn casually or with a fancier look. Suede and faux-leather are the most popular and versatile materials they come in, and they’re sure to make you look super trendy.
The Moto
Not as popular as other styles (yet), the Moto is great for a more vintage-rocker look. Major designers have been including them in collections for the past couple of seasons, which means they’ll be big next year if not sooner.
Last but not least…
The Sock Boot
You’ve seen them on Ariana Grande, Rihanna, and the Kardashians. They got big thanks to streetwear designers, but they’re becoming more common in mainstream fashion. They’re super comfortable too, and wearing them with those mom jeans from Goodwill is very stylish.
These are seriously only a few of the many styles of boots that are out there, I had to cut the list down immensely! I hope these style tips give you more confidence in trying out new up and coming trends as well, because there are so many out there that you could be slaying!
Speaking of boots, check out this senior session of a girl who wears them for a living!
