Even though days like today will remind you that it can still be so cold and random flurries can make spring seem like it will literally never come, I promise you it’s so close!! These next few months tend to FLY by and there are a few things you should make sure to do while you have the time 🙂

Start a small garden

Even if it’s just a few succulents, they’re so cute and will add a splash of color and life in any room.

Take a day trip

• You don’t have to go all out like Ferris Bueller did, just planning a trip to get ice cream with your friends is a perfect way to spend a Saturday.

Decorate Easter eggs

• Get your creativity flowing and make some adorable eggs just in time for Easter- which happens to also be April Fool’s day this year! (confetti eggs, anyone?) 😉

Update your wardrobe

• This can be as simple as bringing in some brighter colors whether that be accessories or super cute sandals. Pastels and Spring go hand-in-hand.

Catch an opening day game

• Or any baseball game for that matter since opening days can also be freezing. Now you have an excuse to wear that cute baseball hat that’s been hidden in your closet all winter.

Go to the zoo

• Zoos are now opening up from the winter, so make sure to pay those animals a visit. They’ll be loving the warmer temps as much as you are.

Plan something great for Mother’s Day

• Anything that you put thought into will work for this one. Spend time with her, and I guarantee she will love every second of it!

Make a fruit salad

• And sit outside to eat it. All the fruits will start to come into season again (meaning they will taste amazing), and this will remind you that summer is just around the corner as well!

Take a scenic bike ride

• No matter where you live, there is always a place to see nature coming to life again. It’s very therapeutic, plus, who doesn’t love picking flowers up off the side of the road?

Have a photoshoot!

• Even though you can do this in any season, channel the new and fresh beginnings of spring in your shoots! Embrace the fact that you don’t have to be sweating bullets or freezing from the inside out to get great pictures.

Stay up for a meteor shower

• May is the month when these will occur, and they’re so cool to witness. Make sure to see one at least once in your life—why not this spring?

Spring cleaning is a thing for a reason

• Take advantage of this, and start the new year off right by tidying up your life in one way or another. It can be something as little as re-organizing your room.
