Elkhart County Extended Mini | Sommers Family

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! …. in April. I still remember this day like it was yesterday, maybe because Northern Indiana continues to surprise us with flurries right when we think to ourselves, “it’s late enough in the year to be above 40 degrees…right?”

Anyway, onto the shoot.

As a Christmas present for Grandma Deb and Grandpa Dale, we gathered up our warmest winter coats and ventured out to Beechy’s Tree Farm in Goshen for some Winter Wonderland-esque pictures.

Such a good-looking family. Grace (lower left corner) is one of my seriously awesome Street Team girls, and I see where she gets it.

You wouldn’t even know the rest of the family was taking turns snuggling up in blankets and coats on the other side of the camera!

Grandma and grandpa. Definitely one of the sweetest couples I’ve met.

Sisters who are also great friends. Jenny (left), moved with her family ten years ago to South Carolina, where this would be considered snow-mageddon.

The Graber family.

The kids have definitely changed the most since their last extended family photoshoot. Cooperation isn’t much of an issue at this age 😉

The Yoder family.

Brother and sister. I don’t know how Grace dodged frostbite with those heels and sweater, but she lives to tell the story.

These pictures definitely outweigh terrible temps. I mean, isn’t the snow just gorgeous?

Thanks for letting me shoot you, Sommers family!

Check out another family session I did this past year, here.
